Project Description:

The site lies in the diplomatic district on the outskirts of Jakarta, Indonesia. The total area of the project is 5,000 m² and includes the main embassy building, the Ambassador’s residence, and ceremonial gardens. The concept attempts to combine the functional and aesthetical aspects of the project through a distinct spatial experiment and a dynamic form. Furthermore, the architectural language employed the vernacular vocabularies in a contemporary manner.

 

Qatar’s embassy and ambassador’s residence breathe an atmosphere of traditional splendid Qatari design and modern construction skills with a finishing touch to the embassy’s authentic style.
